Kiaya Loren Williamson is married to one of the richest business men in N.Y., H.G. Wilson. Her father worked in construction, building towers for H.G. When H.G. saw Kiaya at the age of 20 he fell in love or what Kiaya thought was love. Being 20 years her senior didn't matter to him. When he asked for her hand, he gave the condition if she said no then her father would never work again. Her father said it didn't matter if she said no he would understand. H.G. tried for a year to get Kiaya to say yes each time she said no that is until there were threats against her father did she finally give in. A year later her father knowing how unhappy his daughter was tried to take her away and was killed for his efforts. He was suppose to meet a friend who was to give him passports out of the country.While waiting at the construction site a beam fell on him. Kiaya having known what her father was going to do went to stop him but was too late. She fell to her knees and cried staring at her father's body willing the beam off him, she was surprised when the beam flew across the site. She rush to his side and with his last breath he told her of her mothers journals and the family secret. The police came and ruled it an accident but Kiaya could do nothing to prove it wasn't. She went to her father's house and found her mother's journals. Inside she learned that pass the age of 20 the women of the family received the power of Telekinesis and only during stressful times would they emerge unless she is trained to control it. She returned home and kept the journals and her powers hidden from H.G. for the next 5 years she trained herself according to her mother's journals on how to control her powers.
