Ariel Jasmine McKenna is the product of a mixed
relationship, supernaturally speaking. Her father was a "white
lighter", a guardian and protector of witches. He fell in love with
the witch he was supposed to be protecting, which was Ariel's mother,
Andromeda. They consummated the relationship, and a few months after
that, Ariel was born. She has her father's dark red hair and her
mother's brown eyes. She is 32 years old. Since her parents were forbidden to marry by the elders, Ariel grew up without her father's presence. However, she did have her mother, and for many years it was just the two of them. During that time, though, her mother taught her all that she knew about witchcraft. Ariel is a "white" witch though, using her spells, charms and potions for the purpose of good. She can "scribe", (locate evil), but only when there are no negative emotions such as anger present. Also, since she is only half white-lighter, her healing powers are not as strong as her father's. She can heal, but only to a point. She also discovered, within the last few months, that she can orb as well, but this is a power that is still somewhat untapped and sometimes she is not entirely comfortable with it. When she is frightened or scared she spontaneously beams out. It it something she will need assistance in getting a handle on. She works for the Colby sisters, Dalvinia and Delilah, who run a magic shop that had been owned by their deceased parents. Until recently, Ariel and her mother lived together but her mother found a new job and a new relationship, so she moved out, and Ariel is now on her own for the first time in her life. She dates very seldom, as she saw in a tarot reading she once did for herself that her life's companion would seek her out; she would not have to search for him.
